We are launching Blockchain.community's very own website

Bitcoin emerged 6 years ago and immediately captured public attention with the pioneering blockchain technology. Cryptocurrency is the famous first application of it. The possibilities were endless and the blockchain user community soon started applying the technology to DNS record, shares and vote record keeping; user identification and distributed database implementation.

At this day blockchain has firmly established itself among IT specialists. 22 world leaders in banking, such as Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Citi, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Societe Generale, Barclays, Credit Suisse, UBS are currently collaborating on the R3 project. The aims of the project include further blockchain research and development of global financial blockchain-based solutions. This is just one example and the number of blockchain research laboratories is growing every day:

SantanderBank SantanderBank is pursuing 25 different areas of blockchain application. According to the latest prognoses, the bank will be able to cut up to $20 bln in expenditures.

IBM is working on blockchain solutions side by side with Innovate Finance and STFC's Hartree Centre in their newly established laboratory.

International investment into blockchain research and development is well in the range of billions of US dollars.

And this is the reason why the Blockchain Community is out there to bring blockchain experts together.
